May Allah save Pakistan as no man can

Look at the following stats:

GDP: $ 2.7 Trillion versus $0.27 Trillion

Foreign Reserves: $ 400 Billion versus $ 13.57 Billion

Defense Budget: $ 9 Billion versus $ 53 Billion

Are the above mentioned figures even comparable? Why a country with so much of military, air and naval might continue to endure the dastardly acts of terrorism perpetrated by its piddly neighbor which is not even half its size? We pusillanimously condoned off all the terror strikes as an aberration despite being such a mighty country, but the Pulwama attack on our forces was the last nail in the coffin. Our leadership thought enough is enough and decided to take a bold step and there was a paradigm shift in the way we deal with terrorism.

It was for the first time since 1971 that Indian air crafts went 130 Kilometers deep inside the international border and struck a terrorist camp at Balakot in Pakistan. Reports from various agencies suggest that at the time of bombing there were approximately 250 to 300 terrorists inside the JEM camp who are now all in hell. (A fact corroborated by NTRO)

There are umpteen numbers of proscribed terrorist outfits in Pakistan which spew venom against India and are totally against India’s burgeoning economy but this air strike has left them dumbfounded.

But it is really deplorable that some of our own politicians have started questioning the efficacy of the strike and have raised the question mark over the number of causalities. Even at this age and time it is impossible to count the number of dead bodies after strike and our air chief marshal has very rightly put it that we analyze whether the target has been hit and don’t count the number of causalities.

No matter what the Pakis say but the fact is that there is a paradigm shift in the way we fight terror and valor of our armed forces has come to the fore. Our armed forces have displayed great strength and valor in carrying out a covert operation by inflicting the maximum damage to the blood thirsty terrorists who were baying for the blood of Indian citizens while ensuring that none of the civilians gets hurt in the process.

Bleed India thru a thousand cuts is a military doctrine followed by Pakistan. It consists of waging covert war against India using insurgents at multiple locations. In a 1965 speech to the UN Security Council, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto declared a thousand-year war against India. Pakistani Army ChiefGeneral Zia-ul-Haq gave form to Bhutto’s “thousand years war” with the ‘bleeding India through a thousand cuts’ doctrine using covert and low-intensity warfare with militancy and infiltration. But this time India has raised the stakes for Pakistan for indulging in this doctrine by crossing the border and punishing Pakistan and nobody in the entire world uttered a word.

Under the circumstances Indian diplomacy has worked exceedingly well, Imran Khan the Prime Minister of Pakistan was brought to his knees and they had to return our captured Pilot Abhinandan within 60 hours. This throws up a piquant picture, the pusillanimity of the Pakistani leadership and the gumption of our brave pilot who they could not keep under their custody for even 60 hours. Tremendous amount of diplomatic pressure was exerted on Pakistan for the release of our brave fighter. Imagine the predicament of Pakistani dispensation and deep state as they had to release the person who brought in so much ignominy to their own country. He not only crossed into the Paki airspace but also shot down their most prized asset, an F-16 aircraft whose pilot was lynched by their own people. Pakistani ISPR spokesperson Maj General Ghafoor came out all guns blazing and boasted that they have shot down two Indian aircrafts. The buffoon was oblivious of the fact that one of their own F- 16s was shot down by a Mig- 21 Bison, a vintage Indian aircraft. Their blatant lie was exposed by Indian Air force in their press conference. Reports have authenticated the fact that Paki pilot was indeed killed.

After the release of Abhinanadan Varthman a laughable resolution was passed in Pakistani parliament to confer Nobel Peace Prize to Imran Khan for he made peace overtures to India and has used all his diplomatic resourcefulness to bring Indian leadership to the talking table but Indian leadership is flummoxed,who should we talk to, to a Prime minister who has no locus standi,who has been put into the chair by its military junta so that they can function freely without any hindrances and they they can carry out anti-India activities freely. Imran Khan is not only a very poor orator but is purely dependent on cocaine for keeping himself alive. His marriage to Bushra Bibi on the pretext of taking Pakistan forward is hilarious and exhibits the character of the man who is not a wee bit bothered about others.

After the pounding that Pakistan received thru both air and diplomatic strike a charade has been put up by Pakistani Civilian Government saying that they are serious about uprooting the terrorism from their soil and have incarcerated fourty four of the most dreaded terrorists but we have seen it all before.

Even though Pakistan has some good journalists and people like Rauf Klasra who always talk sense but it seems even they have not been able to understand the deceit and false propaganda of Pakistani deep state. It is really deplorable when a country fails to recognize the martyrdom of its own people. This is the underlying reason why Pakistan as a country has failed miserably and was broken into two in 1971. Even Bangladesh which was carved out of Pakistan in the year 1971 has progressed at a much rapid pace. The Frankenstein monster of terrorism which was created by Pakistan has come back to bite it. These Jihadists are hurting them in big way.

Pakistani economy is in doldrums, it’s only $ 270 Billion economy compared to India’s thriving $ 2.7 Trillion economy which is growing at the rate of over 7% on a year on year basis. Pakistan is already on the grey list of Financial Action Task Force and shall be soon relegated to black list because of its terror funding but still it will perpetually continue to perpetrate terror in our country. It has a policy of Ghazwa e Hind which means it wants to rule over India and this doctrine has bedeviled the entire country. Their madarsas originating in Pakistan are nothing but terror factories which continue to churn out terrorists and suicide bombers who continue to target India.

Unfortunately, in this entire milieu the real loosers are ignorant Pakistani citizens who are unnecessarily losing out on the development front and are also getting deprived of the basic necessities because of religious fanaticism. As it is an oppressed society so the truth never comes out in open. Their deep sate will always try to hide from the people their nefarious designs, plunging the country deeper into the abyss. India’s aggressive stance this time has put them on the back foot for they fear they will lose Balochistan as well if they don’t cry for peace.

What Rauf klasra and other moderates need to understand is that they have to exhort their military and civil leadership to really act against the terrorists, chances of which look bleak at this stage. Nawaz Sharif tried to take some action against the Mumbai perpetrators but was shunted out by the deep state and similar fate awaits those who talk about peace with India. The way things stand at this stage the only way out of this labyrinth seems to be to take small but concrete steps against terror sympathizers otherwise Pakistan is looking at a much scarier economic and social picture for it’s people.
