  1. From the looks of it, you appear to be a statistician. But my friend, proof of the pudding is in eating. We may have great statistical probability, but unless we perform in the presence of strong adversary, our chances will not brighten. On a positive note we have realistic chance of winning in boxing, shooting, badminton, wrestling, Archery, may be table tennis and lawn tennis. We may win in Hockey, as Europeans and Australians will not compete. May be in kabaddi too. How many gold medals? Let us wait and watch.

    1. Absolutely sir. Medals are won on ground. But I am confident about my model. My main idea is that our journalist friends should not make absurd predictions on medal count.

  2. Haha! who better than little children to put a test to your patience. But a little patience, okay lots of patience will not be futile for other than patience itself they are a university in itself – handling your embarrassment in a room full of people who are trying to suppress a smile or a laugh for instance. 😉

    1. Yes , children teach you a lot. As they say son is the father of man. hahah!

  3. well said…just when you think you’ve got the hang of patience…they will compel you to re-examine and expand your limits…
