All good things start with a dream

A dream to soar, a dream to fly

Dreams got wings, Aryabhatta came into being

But the nation wanted more, PSLV, GSLV came to the fore

104 satellite launched in one go, a record never seen before

But ye dil Mange Moon!!!

 Chandrayaan- 2 followed Chandrayaan-1

A mesmerized nation glued to the television

Astounded it was not an Indo Pak match which caught the imagination  

It was a mission much intense; a target much important

It was India’s moon landing

Vikram danced to the tune of the saree draped women

Till it mischievously  pulled away from the path intended

Lost the communication and went astray

For he wanted to explore the land unknown

But poor kid fell into the crater on moon,

And was found lying upside down

But  he did not get hurt, it was an immense gain

Soft was not an option for the naughty little Vikram

For he wanted  a big bang landing

Called out the orbiter and gave glimpse to his parents

Giving hope to the scientists who were in deep consternation

Let’s praise their efforts for once, for loving us to the moon and back.
