Apocalypse is when you don’t find four shoulders to carry a coffin
When mortal remains, of your loved one, become dear
When saying final goodbye becomes a luxury you cannot adhere
When performing last rites is no longer your right
and lighting the funeral pyre becomes perilous
Imagine the pain, imagine the fear
What else could be apocalyptic
For all those who talk economy
What GDP growth to light a funeral pyre
What financial ratings to collect the ashes
How many trillions to immerse the ashes
How much tax collection to achieve salvation
Economy can bounce back
But there is no coming back after lifting a coffin
Survive if you can
Economic growth will come with its own pangs
Let us pause and live
For this is an apocalypse
